{"id":764,"date":"2014-03-07T19:51:50","date_gmt":"2014-03-08T03:51:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/helenhenry.com\/blog\/?p=764"},"modified":"2014-03-07T19:51:50","modified_gmt":"2014-03-08T03:51:50","slug":"poppy-info","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/helenhenry.com\/blog\/?p=764","title":{"rendered":"Poppy Info"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Wildflower Bloom Status<\/h4>\n<p><strong>March 3rd:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"id_5314b16ddbd442116650239\">The hills have a slight tinge of green and there are a few tiny poppy plants with just one flower.\u00a0 There are also a few other tiny flowers that can be spotted here and there along the trails.\u00a0 We&#8217;d had less than a half inch of rain over the winter but just received another 3.5 inches this week!\u00a0 We will likely have many more plants sprout in about two weeks, but their shallow roots leave them vulnerable to late season freezes and early heat waves.\u00a0\u00a0This could be another \u201cMarch Miracle\u201d year but there\u2019s no guarantee how long it will last.\u00a0 Mid April will likely be our peak.<\/p>\n<p>The Jane S.
